Alberta Ukrainian Commemorative Society (AUCS) is to supports the advancement of Ukrainian heritage in the fields of education, culture, and language learning. We support and promote projects and organizations that work towards the advancement of Ukrainian heritage in Alberta, Canada. Applications are assessed on their strength, clarity, and their alignment with the goals of AUCS.
The general application deadline is March 31, 2025.
Applications for funds can be submitted throughout the year. However, only those facing critical scheduling and timing issues will be considered outside the general application deadline.
*Note, only organizations with a valid charitable number are eligible to receive funding from AUCS. Failure to disclose your Charitable Number will immediately disqualify your application.

Any organization that has received funding from the Alberta Ukrainian Commemorative Society (AUCS) is required to submit a final report. This report is due upon completion of the project and/or expenditure of AUCS donated funds (whichever comes first).
It is recognized that a project could be delayed and may not be completed as scheduled. In this case a request for a time extension should be made to AUCS by writing to info@AUCS.ca, and provide a very brief description of the challenges faced and new expected timelines.
If neither a final report nor a request for extension is received by AUCS within 6 months after scheduled completion of the project, AUCS will consider the project to be incomplete. In this case, all money received from AUCS not expended on the project would have to be returned to AUCS. Failure to submit a report or extension would make the recipient of AUCS funds ineligible for future funding from AUCS.
